The Acting Chief State Prosecutor requires from the chief prosecutors of the prosecution offices commitment in strengthening the rule of law

Prishtina, December 29, 2022 - The Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, held the last meeting for 2022 of the Collegium of Chief Prosecutors of the state prosecution offices, in which the chief prosecutors, representatives of the prosecution offices and prosecutors of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, with whom he discussed various professional issues.

Initially, the chief prosecutors reported on the situation in the prosecution offices that they manage, namely on the number of received, solved and ongoing cases of all natures in the relevant departments throughout the year that we are leaving behind.

On this occasion, Acting Chief State Prosecutor Kelmendi appraised the work of the prosecution offices, encouraging them to continue their commitment in dealing with all criminal cases with special emphasis, those of organized crime and corruption, war crimes, economic crimes, cases of domestic violence, cases against sexual integrity, etc.

In addition, in this meeting, the prosecutors of the Chief State Prosecutor’s Office, who are engaged as coordinators, have reported, emphasizing the challenges, difficulties and achievements in the fields they cover.

In conclusion, Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, has wished success and prosperity in the New Year 2023 to all chief prosecutors, prosecutors of all prosecution offices and those of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, requesting to continue to be committed in strengthening the rule of the law.
