A person is arrested for misuse of official position or authority, exercise of influence and conflict of interest
Prishtinë, April 19, 2023 - By order of the Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK), the Kosovo Police arrested a person with the initials N.K. due to the well-founded suspicion that the same has committed the criminal offenses "Misuse of official position or authority" from article 414 paragraph 2 related to paragraph 1 of the CCRK, "Exercise of influence" from article 424 paragraph 1 of the CCRK and the criminal offense "Conflict of interest" from article 417 paragraph 2 related to paragraph 1 of the CCRK.
Likewise, the Special Investigations Unit today searched the office of the defendant N.K. in Prishtinë, two apartments in separate locations in Prishtinë, owned and used by the same, in order to find evidence related to the aforementioned criminal acts. During the search, various documents related to the case were seized, electronic devices such as three (3) computers, one (1) laptop, one (1) cell phone, one (1) USB, as material evidence that will serve for further procedure.
By decision of the state prosecutor, the defendant with the initials N.K. was detained for 48 hours.
