Chief Prosecutor Blerim Isufaj hosts Chief Prosecutor Vlademir Novoviç in the meeting

Prishtinë, 28 February 2023 – Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Isufaj, together with U.D. The Chief State Prosecutor, Besim Kelmendi, and the Chairman of the Prosecution Council of Kosovo, Jetish Maloku, hosted the Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor's Office of Montenegro, Vlademir Novovic, together with Milan Dakic the chief staff of this prosecution.

Chief Prosecutor Isufaj informed Chief Prosecutor Novovic about the functioning of the Special Prosecutions Office of the Republic of Kosovo, in the realization of their mission for the rule of law, stressing that the main challenge of the Special Prosecutor's Office remains the fight against corruption, organized crime, cross-border crime, war crimes and ensuring adequate conditions for the best functioning of this prosecution.

In addition, the attendees discussed the need to exchange experiences and strengthen interstate cooperation between the two respective prosecutors' offices, for the efficient fight against crimes committed in the two respective states.

Likewise, the interlocutors highly appreciated the cooperation that exists between the prosecution offices of these two countries, emphasizing and expressing the readiness for deepening cooperation, especially in the fight against cross-border crime, organized crime and terrorism.
