A written test of candidates for state prosecutors is held
Prishtinë, 19 December 2021 – At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety in Vushtrri is holding a written test for candidates who have passed the qualification test for state prosecutors.
In the framework of this recruitment process of 16 prosecutors in the basic prosecution offices, 180 candidates participated, of which 62 candidates belong to the female gender, while one (1) is from the non-majority communities.
Today's written test was supervised by members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Recruitment Commission, and representatives of the Kosovo Rule of Law Mission - EULEX, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe OSCE and the Group for Legal and Political Studies - GLPS were present to monitor this process, while to observe were present representatives of the European Union Program for the Justice Sector in Kosovo - EUKOJUST and representatives of the Project of the British Embassy in Kosovo "Strengthening the justice system in Kosovo", through implementing partners Axiom International”.
The process of recruiting prosecutors has started with the announcement of the vacancy in June 2020 and its re-announcement in May 2021.
The written test for the recruitment of new state prosecutors is part of the second phase of the general testing, which the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council manages according to the most advanced international standards.
