Joint Press Release between State Prosecutor and Kosovo Police
Prishtina, 30th of August 2016/Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosova in cooperation with Kosovo Police, following an intensive investigation regarding the attack against the Assembly of the Republic of Kosova that has occurred on 4th of August 2016, have achieved to identify suspects who have planned, organized and executed the attack. The respective suspects have claimed responsibility for undertaking this attack.
This complex investigation was treated with specialized investigation techniques and measures and today, upon the Order issued by the Basic Court in Prishtina was conducted the searching of six (6) premises in Prishtina, upon which were arrested six defendants and were taken in accompany two other persons. Against six defendants, whose initials are: A.B, A.A, A.D, E.H, F.K and P.A is imposed detention measure from 48 hours.
During the application of the Search Order, for the purposes of material evidences were sequestrated: six firearms, three automatic rifles, 2 pistols, one carbine gun, ammunition, as well as other material evidences related to the case. Sequestrated items shall be examined by the experts of the respective area.
