There was held the next meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council
Prishtina, 30th of January 2015 – There was held the sixty-seventh extraordinary meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, chaired by Acting Chief State Prosecutor, simultaneously Head of the Council, Sylë Hoxha.
In the sixty-seventh meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the only topic of the agenda was “review of the selection process of Chief State Prosecutor”.
Members of Prosecutorial Council have discussed about the work that has been done so far in the process that has started for selection of Chief State Prosecutor, whilst they have agreed, that the process for selection of Chief State Prosecutor shall continue with prompt steps, but always, as they have said, by respecting time deadlines provided by legal acts that regulate the selection procedure of Chief State Prosecutor.
Members of the Council have also brought the decision for explaining the request submitted to Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), for vetting of the candidates for Chief State Prosecutor. With seven votes in favour and one abstention, members of the Council have decided to explain to Kosovo Intelligence Agency the request submitted to them for vetting of candidates for Chief State Prosecutor, to treat this matter as a vetting for sharing information for candidates that have applied for Chief State Prosecutor.
Members of the Prosecutorial Council have decided to have the next meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council held on 7th of February, 2015 at 11:00.
