THERE IS HELD THE NEXT MEETING OF KOSOVO PROSECUTORIAL COUNCIL
Prishtina, 13th of February 2015 – There is held the eighty-eighth meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, chaired by Acting Chief State Prosecutor, simultaneously Head of the Council, Sylë Hoxha.
Following the approval of transcripts and minutes of the previous meeting of KPC, members for the first topic of the agenda have discussed the respond of Ministry of Education and Rectorate concerning the mandate of the KPC member, Bajram Uka.
The second topic of the agenda that KPC members have discussed was the withdrawal of five candidates from the competition for Chief State Prosecutor, whereas the third topic of the agenda discussed by the members of KPC was requests for carrying on with the procedures for selection of the Chief State Prosecutor, requests that have arrived to Kosovo Prosecutorial Council by a certain number of Prosecutors of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, Appellate Prosecution, Basic Prosecution of Prishtina, Gjilan and Ferizaj.
On the other hand, fourth topic of the agenda that was discussed in the respective meeting was the further progress of the process for selection of Chief State Prosecutor. Following the discussions, with four votes in favour, one against and two abstentions, members of the Council have decided to carry on with the respective process for selection of Chief State Prosecutor with the remained candidate.
KPC has also brought the Decision to have the preparing for the interviewing of the candidate for Chief State Prosecutor on 19th of February, 2015, whereas on 20th of February, 2015 to interview the candidate.
