There was held the next meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council
Prishtina, 12th of February 2016 – There was held the one-hundred-twelfth meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), the first meeting chaired by the Chairman of Prosecutorial Council, Blerim Isufaj.
In this meeting, KPC members have approved Strategic Plan for time period 2016-2018, and they have also changed and completed the composition of KPC Committees, namely the Committee for Normative Acts will be chaired by Bahri Hyseni, whereas members of the respective Committee will be Dëshirë Hysaj and Besim Kelmendi. On the other hand, the Committee for Budget and Finances will be chaired by Zejnullah Gashi, and Radica Milic and Haki Geci will be members. The Committee in charge of reviewing the eligibility of the candidates nominated by the civil society will be chaired by Arben Ismajli, whereas members will be Sevdije Morina and Valdrin Krasniqi.
KPC has also assigned Deputy-Members of the Disciplinary Committee, where Deputy-Chairman of this Committee was assigned Haxhi Sinanaj, whereas assigned Deputy-Members are Lulzim Sylejmani and Xhevdet Bislimi.
Today, was also established the Committee in charge of Prosecutors` Performance Assessment, which will be chaired by Idain Ismailji, whereas members of the named Committee will be Ikramije Bojaxhiu and Lulzim Sulejmani.
Today, Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has also taken the decision on vacancy announcement for recruitment of 22 new Prosecutors for all Basic Prosecutions.
KPC members have approved two Regulations of the Office of the Disciplinary Prosecutor, which shall set the internal functioning of the respective Office.
Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has approved the request of the Bar Union, for continuing with providing extra compensation payments for a part of the staff of the prosecutorial system.
Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, in this meeting has also elected Lavdim Krasniqi, to serve in the position of the General Director of the Secretariat of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
