CHAIRMAN ISUFAJ HAS MET WITH A DELEGATION FROM TURKISH JUSTICE INSTITUTIONS
Prishtina, 29th of March 2016 – Today, Chairman of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Blerim Isufaj, has hosted for a meeting a delegation from Turkish Justice Institutions, led by Deputy Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Basri Bagci.
After that Chairman Isufaj has thanked the delegation from Turkey regarding continuous support their country is giving to the prosecutorial system of Kosova, he has briefed on the competencies that Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has within the prosecutorial system and, the recent structuring that took place in the Council as per the supplementing and amending of the Law on Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
Chairman Isufaj has also replied to the interests shown by the Turkish delegation regarding election of members and, functioning of the bodies functioning inside Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
On the other hand, Deputy Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Turkey, Basri Bagci, following the expressed appraisal regarding the cooperation that was in place between justice systems of both countries, has expressed readiness of Turkish Justice Institutions to carry on with providing support for the prosecutorial system of Kosova in the future as well.
