KPC PERFORMANCE IS APPRAISED
Prishtina, 13th of April 2016 – Today, Chairman of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Blerim Isufaj, has hosted in a meeting John Ferry from USAID Program on Strengthening Justice Sector in Kosova.
Chairman Isufaj in this occasion has appraised cooperation and support which was and is being given by USAID to the prosecutorial system of Kosova. In this occasion on behalf of the KPC he has also expressed his readiness to carry on and extend the cooperation between KPC and USAID.
On the other hand, USAID representative, John Ferry, who is staying in Kosova for the second time for the purposes of supporting justice system, has appraised the work that Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has done and is doing.
In this meeting with special emphasize were discussed the work being done by disciplinary bodies inside justice system of Kosova, opportunities for extending communication and cooperation between them, as well as finding easier ways for as prompt and professional closure of disciplinary cases.
Both interlocutors have agreed on higher work coordination among Justice System institutions for establishment of legal infrastructure, as well as other mechanisms that would provide better conditions for effectiveness and promptness in the work of their disciplinary bodies.
