The Chairperson of the Prosecutorial Council had a meeting with the Chairperson of the Judicial Council
Pristina, January 16, 2019 - The Head of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Bahri Hyseni, had a meeting with the Head of the Judicial Council, Mr. Nehat Idrizi, where they discussed the general developments within the justice system with the focus on common agendas of 2019.
The two leaders of the justice system expressed their full readiness to cooperate in empowering and advancing law enforcement within their respective competencies, working to complete the transition to the justice system and bring about the right changes, such as and to develop and advance strategic partnerships with internal and external factors.
Also, in this context, special attention at today's meeting was devoted to the coordination of activities on judicial reforms, the entry into force of the Law on Disciplinary Responsibility of Judges and Prosecutors, coordination for the revision of sub-legal acts, the status of both administrations and coordinating agendas for holding joint meetings KPC-KJC.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Hyseni thanked Mr. Idrizi for the visit and discussions conducted on this occasion for the necessary coordination of the respective management activities, which are in function and will have a positive impact on the further development of the justice system in Kosovo.
On the other hand, the head of the KJC congratulated the KPC member for the new assignment, expressing the conviction that with his experience and professionalism he will appreciate and increase mutual co-operation at the best institutional level.
