The drafts of two regulations are discussed
Pristine, April 17th 2019- The Committee on Normative Issues of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has held the next meeting, chaired by the Chairperson of this committee, Zejnullah Gashi, where was attended by the General Director of the Secretariat of the Council, Lavdim Krasniqi, representatives of the Embassy of the United States of America and the United Kingdom Embassy.
Among the main points of the agenda for discussion at this meeting were the draft of the Regulation on Amending and Supplementing the Regulation No. 08/2016 on the Appointment of Chief Prosecutors, draft that was completed in harmony with the Constitutional Court Judgment on the Voting Case and the draft of the Regulation on the procedure of mediation of cases by local prosecutions, which derives from the Law on Mediation, which obliged the Prosecutorial Council to draft a special regulation for referral of cases in mediation procedure.
Following the discussions of these two regulations, the Committee on Normative Affairs decided to propose to the Prosecutorial Council their approval at its next meeting.
