The 246th Meeting of the Prosecutorial Council is held

The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), led by the Chairman Ardian Hajdaraj, held the 246th Meeting in a row, in which the items on the agenda were discussed.

At the beginning of today's meeting, Council members unanimously approved the proposal to prepare an abridged summary of the minutes of KPC meetings, since, in fact, KPC meetings are always broadcast online and the full speeches of each member can be saved and easily found. 

Also, following the meeting, it was also discussed about the difficulties created during the handling of cases in the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Mitrovica after the resignation of the prosecutors of the Serbian community, where the need for additional prosecutors was presented. In this case, the recommendation of the Chairman of the KPC was approved for finding a temporary solution by means of the transfer of three (3) prosecutors for a three-month period, this matter, which will be dealt with in the next collegium of the country's chief prosecutors , then KPC will be informed to make a decision on this matter.   

During this meeting, the proposal for the decision on the salary and compensation of the non-prosecutor members was not considered due to the lack of quorum, but it will be dealt with at the next meeting of the KPC, which will be held soon.
