Indictment against the defendant who took the life of his brother
Mitrovica, March 27, 2024 - The Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica - the Department of Serious Crimes, has filed an indictment, with the Basic Court in Mitrovica, against the defendant E.J., due to the well-founded suspicion of committing the criminal offense “Aggravated Murder” under Article 173 paragraph 1 point 1.3 of CPRK, and “Unauthorized ownership, control, or possession of weapons”, under article 366 paragraph 1 of CPRK.
The prosecution office informs the public that on November 5, 2023, in his apartment in Mitrovica - North, the defendant intentionally deprived the life of the victim - his brother E.J., in such a way that after a brief conversation, he attacked the victim with a knife kitchen, with a blade length of 12 cm, and hit him five (5) times in different parts of the body, causing cutting and piercing wounds, and as a result of the injuries received, the victim died in the Mitrovica hospital.
Also, the defendant, in his house in Mitrovica - North, without authorization, possessed the Colt brand pistol (ROHM RG 69), 9 mm, German production.
With these actions, the defendant has committed the criminal offenses he is charged with.
The State Prosecutor has proposed to the court to declare the defendant guilty of the criminal acts committed and punish him according to the law.
