The first meeting of the Advisory Committee on the Ethics of Prosecutors is held

Within the framework of the implementation of Regulation 01/2023 for the Advisory Commission on the Ethics of Prosecutors, the Advisory Commission on the Ethics of Prosecutors of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, appointed by the KPC and chaired by the prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Lulzim Sulejmani, held the first meeting according to the foreseen agenda.
Members Agron Qalaj and Sheribane Selimi-Muçaj, as well as the General Director of the KPC Secretariat, Sami Istrefi, also participated in this meeting.
Consequently, in today's meeting, the members of this commission addressed the procedures for giving opinions and discussed the issues of concrete engagement for the fastest functionalization of this institutional body, including the start of evaluations and compliance with the legal and by-law deadlines for giving of relevant opinions.
On this occasion, it was discussed the implementation of public transparency by the Advisory Committee on the Ethics of Prosecutors in the KPC, also through the creation of a special space on the official website of the Council, where the various opinions expressed during the work processes will be published.
