The first meeting of the Commission for the recruitment of 28 new state prosecutors is held

The Commission for the Recruitment of State Prosecutors of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), chaired by the Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, Blerim Isufaj, held an informative meeting, in which its members participated: Ardian Hajdaraj, Jehona Grantolli, Armend Zenelaj and Zejnulla Gashi, as well as the General Director of SKPC, Sami Istrefi, the Director of PPRU, Arta Kelmendi and other managers of the administrative staff.
The purpose of this meeting was to deal with the further steps of the recruitment process of twenty (28) new state prosecutors in the prosecution offices of the Republic of Kosovo, based on Regulation No. 02/2022 on the Recruitment, Examination, Appointment and Re-appointment of State Prosecutors.
During today's meeting, it was said that this process will go through all the previous recruitment stages and will be carried out according to advanced international standards, while the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council will keep the media and public opinion continuously informed about the procedures and the process of selecting new prosecutors.
The process of recruiting new prosecutors began with the announcement of the competition on February 22, 2024 and candidates had the opportunity to apply through four forms: the online system, submission of physical copies, by e-mail and regular mail.
