The work plan of the Commission for Normative Issues for the year 2024 is approved

The Commission for Normative Issues, chaired by Mr. Armend Zenelaj, held the next meeting according to the previous agenda, in which its members, Mr. Bahri Hyseni and Mr. Ilir Morina, General Director of the KPC Secretariat Mr. Sami Istrefi, the official from OPDAT at the American Embassy in Prishtina, Mrs. Benina Kusari, Mrs. Edita Shporta the Acting Leader of the OPAV, and Mr. Burhan Maxhuni participated.
Initially, the members of this commission approved the Work Plan of the Commission for Normative Issues for the year 2024, which is based on the Strategic Plan of the Prosecution System and contains the activities that will be carried out in the next one-year period.
Also, after the final treatment, they also approved the draft of the Regulation on the Mandate, Structure and Functioning of the Office for Protection and Assistance to Victims (OPAV), in which case, the chairman of the Commission, Mr. Zenelaj, thanked the international partners for their support given regarding the drafting of this regulation, which will be in public hearing and then proposed to the Prosecutorial Council for approval.
The Commission also discussed the authorization of the chairman of the KPK for the revision and amendment of the Regulation for the Election of the Chief State Prosecutor and the Chief Prosecutors of the Prosecution Offices of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as its amendment.
