Enhancing the Environment for Minors: US Embassy Donates Toys and Educational Materials to the Interview Chamber of the Basic Prosecution Office in Prishtina
Prishtina, February 20, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution Office in Prishtina received a donation of new children's toys and educational materials from the American Embassy in Kosovo, enriching the room designated for interviewing minors. These resources will benefit minors interviewed by the Juvenile Department of the prosecutor's office, as well as by the defenders of victims from the Office for Victim Protection and Assistance.
Chief Prosecutor Zejnullah Gashi expressed deep gratitude for the continuous support from the US Embassy in Kosovo. This support has been instrumental in creating the best conditions for interviewing minors, starting with the inauguration of the Chamber for interviewing minors in 2019. These efforts have significantly enhanced the efficiency of the Department for Minors within the Prosecution Office.
