“Detention on Remand Requested for Defendant Extradited from the US on Charges of “Murder” and “Possession of Weapons and Ammunition”
Gjakova, on February 8, 2024 - The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova, Department for Serious Crimes, has taken a decision to reinitiate investigations applied for the imposing of a measure of detention on remand for a duration of 30 days, against the defendant with the initials D.LL.
The same was arrested with an international arrest warrant and was extradited from the USA to Kosovo, under the suspicion that on 12.07.2003, has committed the criminal offense of “Murder” under article 30 par.2 point 3 of the Criminal Code, as well as the criminal offense of “Unauthorized Possession of Weapons and Ammunition” under article 8 par.8.5 in conjunction with article 8.3 of the UNMIK Regulation 2001/7.
