INDICTMENT AGAINST TEN PERSONS IN THE CASE OF "SUBSIDITY IV"

Prishtina, 23 November  2023 - The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK), has filed an indictment in the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against ten (10) defendants, of which eight (8) officials and two (2) citizens, in the case known as "Subsidy IV".

The Special Prosecution announces that the official persons as defendants are three (3) officials from the Agency for the Development of Agriculture in Prishtina, three (3) officials of the AZHB in the Peja Region, one (1) official from the Directorate for Agriculture in the Municipality of Istog and one (1) official from the Department of Agriculture in the Municipality of Lipjan.

Also, we inform you that  there is reasonable suspicion that they have committed the criminal offences, "Taking bribes" from article 421 paragraph 2 related to article 77 Criminal Offenses in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, "Exercise of influence'' from article 424 paragraph 1 related to article 77 Criminal offenses in progress of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, "Assistance in the criminal offense of bribery" from article 421 paragraph 2 related to article 33 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo , "Fraud in office" from article 419 paragraph 1 related to paragraph 3 and article 77 ongoing criminal offenses of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, "Giving a bribe" from article 422 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of of Kosovo, as well as "Fraud with subsidies" from article 324 paragraph 1 related to paragraph 3 and article 77 Continuing criminal offenses of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
