The Supervisory Commission for Monitoring Cases of Corruption and Economic Crimes visits the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Gjakova
Prishtinë, 28 April 2023 – The Supervisory Commission for Corruption and Economic Crimes, led by the chairman Arian Gashi, together with the members of this Commission, prosecutors Arben Ismajli and Laura Pula, as well as the Coordinator of the Permanent Commissions of the KPC, Besim Kusari, visited the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Gjakova, where they were received in a meeting by Acting chief prosecutor of this prosecution, Enis Gashi.
The meeting took place within the framework of the active monitoring of the implementation of the strategy of the prosecutorial system (2022-2024) and the action plan by this commission, in which case it was discussed about the process of carrying out cases of corruption and economic crimes, their treatment and the challenges they present in this prosecution.
The members of the Commission, during the review of the Quarterly Report for the period January-March 2023, evaluated the results in this prosecution and, at the same time, requested further commitment for handling the cases of 2022 and subsequent cases of 2023.
