The General Director of the KPC Secretariat hosted the EUKOJUST project expert in a meeting
Prishtinë, 19 December 2023 – The General Director of the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Sami Istrefi, hosted the EUKOJUST Project expert, Mr. Cristian Nicoara.
The purpose of today's meeting was to discuss the current phase of the implementation of the EUKOJUST project and the coordination of joint activities and priorities within the framework of strengthening the administrative capacities of the prosecutorial system.
On this occasion, the General Director of the Secretariat, Mr. Istrefi, thanked the expert of the EUKOJUST project, Mr. Nicoara, requesting the support of the EUKOJUST project for the finalization of the Public Communication Strategy, to improve the quality of communication of the prosecutorial system and to increase of transparency to the general public opinion.
The representative of the EUKOJUST project, Mr. Nicoara, emphasized that cooperation with the prosecutorial system has been extended in many areas within the framework of the implementation of strategic objectives, confirming the provision of support and expertise until the completion of this project.
The interlocutors agreed to work according to the planning and identifying issues and challenges faced by the Council and the State Prosecutor, in order to harmonize and coordinate future actions for their efficient addressing.
