Detention on remand is requested for the murder a night before in Mitrovica
Mitrovica, December 29, 2021 - Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica - Department for Serious Crimes, has requested from the Basic Court in Mitrovica to order detention on remand against two detainees with initials G.R., and M.H., due to reasonable suspicion of committing criminal offenses “Robbery” and “Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons”.
The same individuals, last night on December 28, 2021, during the robbery of a grocery store on "Mbretëresha Teutë" street in Mitrovica, they deprived of life the owner of the store with the initials A.M.
The suspects, were arrested, by order of the prosecutor have been detained for 48 hours, while the dead body of the victim by order of the prosecutor was sent for autopsy to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pristina.
The court session to order the detention on remand against detainees is expected to be held before the pre-trial judge of the Basic Court in Mitrovica.
