A person suspected of cultivating the hashish plant, coca bush or cannabis plants is detained
Prishtinë, 24 November 2021– The Basic Prosecution in Prishtina-Department of Serious Crimes, with a decision of the state prosecutor has detained for a period of 48 hours the person with the initials LS, due to suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense "Cultivation of hashish plant, coca bush or cannabis plants”, from Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Prosecution has taken the necessary investigative actions, so that with the approval of the competent court and in full coordination with the Kosovo Police, from the raid carried out in the village of Mramor, in the rented house of the above-mentioned suspect, a laboratory for the production of substances was identified and thirty-six (36) narcotic plants of marijuana type were also found and seized.
The suspect is under the measure of detention of 48 hours, while the prosecutor of the case will undertake other procedural actions against him.
