Chief State Prosecutor Lumezi demands greater engagement from the chief prosecutors of prosecution offices
Prishtina, March 10, 2020 - The Chief State Prosecutor, Aleksandër Lumezi, has held the next collegium with all Chief Prosecutors of Basic Prosecutions in the country, Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution Office and Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution.
During this meeting, Chief Prosecutor Lumezi requested greater engagement and a more active role of the Chief Prosecutors in tracking the work of the prosecution offices they lead.
In this context, it is required to have weekly reports compiled on the work, achievements and challenges in the management of the respective prosecution offices, thus advancing internal communication and information between the Chief Prosecutors and the Chief State Prosecutor.
In addition, at this meeting it was requested that the Regulation on Public Communication Service of the Prosecutorial System be strictly implemented by prosecutors and chief prosecutors, as set forth in the relevant articles of this regulation.
This meeting was in the continuation of the regular Collegiums held by the Chief State Prosecutor with all Chief Prosecutors at the national level.
